Nespresso® Dimensional Mail Sales Campaign

In addition to their world-leading range of consumer coffee pods and machines, Nespresso has a range of Nespresso Professional machines that are targeted at businesses and catering establishments. There is a separate range of coffee pods that accompany the machines.

For the past three years we have worked with Nespresso Professional to create and implement Dimensional Mail campaigns designed to generate warm leads for the sales team.

The secret to a Dimensional Mail campaign is that it centres around a physical 3-D piece (like a box) containing an element of value, which helps it to find its way past a gatekeeper and into the hands of the desired decision maker.

For 2021 we developed a new campaign that served as an appointment-generator to coincide with the revolutionary new Nespresso Momento Coffee & Milk machine, which enables coffee lovers to make barista-style coffee – without the barista.

A set of 8 cards were included in the box, that detailed the value proposition of having a Nespresso Professional machine in a client’s business.

The cards were beautifully hand illustrated by our Art Director, Mick Lakin, and as a set formed a strikingly original and premium way to communicate to prospects.

All of the materials were made from recycled paper and cardboard, that gave Mick the opportunity to showcase another of his skills in terms of complex dieline creation.

A Caran d’ Ache pen was included as the value item in the mailout. The unique pen is crafted partly from the aluminium sourced from recycled capsules, which reinforces one of the company’s core pillars in terms of the environment and sustainability.

The Dimensional Mail packs will be sent out by the sales teams to decision makers in targeted firms and will form the basis for generating appointments to sell in the Nespresso Professional value proposition in the commercial market.
