American Express Virtual Payments Solutions

During the peak of COVID-19, many businesses reduced their spending on travel and entertainment. This presented American Express with an ideal opportunity to showcase an alternative suite of “non-Card” Virtual Payment solutions that offered major benefits to their corporate clients.

The brief was to develop a range of marketing communication materials to help increase the awareness of these virtual and digital products and their benefits amongst existing Large Market clients and prospects. We proposed a suite of product videos that would showcase each product, who it is best suited for, how it works and its benefits and features.

Working closely with our studio and animation suppliers, we successfully developed 14 videos.

Our goal was to communicate each product clearly and simply with a digestible script plus engaging illustrations, visuals and audio.

They included 7 x 2-minute videos of each VSCP product and 7 x 30 second variations to feature in ad breaks at the annual Inside Edge event, where they would reach the most important Large Market clients.

The videos were extremely well received at the conference as well as by the sales team. 2021 will see the videos used in various digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and sales of VCSP products. Amex teams in the UK, Hong Kong and Japan are now looking to leverage the videos for their own audiences.

To create and complete 14 individual videos in just over 3 months was a record achievement for DesignStreet, and we received glowing feedback from the VCSP project leader.
