Graham joined DesignStreet
in April 2005 following a 4-year contract as the
MD of Audi Australia, where he laid the foundation
and turnaround strategy for what has since become
the fastest growing luxury brand in Australia.
Prior to that he was Sales and Marketing Director
of Volkswagen and Audi South Africa, where he
led the company into the number one position in
the passenger car market, a position it still
holds today.
As a member of the 200-strong International Volkswagen
Management Group, and after a highly successful
25-year career, the decision to move to ‘the
other side of the desk’ was driven by the
wish to stay in Australia, and to learn new skills
and grow within an entrepreneurial business environment.
Graham’s contribution is varied, ranging
from high level strategy development for multinational
firms, through to copywriting in specialist fields
such as finance and investment property, through
to new business development, and to the general
management of the business.
A staple contribution in any discussion is the
use of free-flowing analogies that have the team
in stitches, as well as the obligatory supply
of ‘Dad’ jokes. Graham loves the creative
environment that sees a brief become a brainstorm
become a concept become a communication piece
that then drives business for clients big and
small. He is a perfectionist, sets high standards,
and has great expectations for the future. He
rates our excellent repertoire of work, great
clients, and outstanding team, as our greatest
assets.
